Theology, Ethics and Animals (TEA) Project

The moral and theological consideration of animals and creation is receiving increasing academic attention. The TEA Project aims to bring the consideration of God’s other creatures into the academic discussions at Wycliffe and the University of Oxford. The project is led by Research Fellow Dr Clair Linzey.

The heart of the project is the TEA Seminar which brings together students and academics from different theological perspectives to discuss the relevance of animals and creation care to their academic work. The seminar is open to all members of the University and takes the form of a short pre-reading, a 20-minute presentation of ideas, followed by a discussion with tea and cake.
