Student Accommodation at Wycliffe Hall
For next academic year the college offers accommodation to Wycliffe students in two locations: in Oxford on the college's Banbury Road site and at Yarnton Manor. Each room categorised based on size and facilities available in/near the room. All accommodation is non-smoking.
Wycliffe Hall
Ensuite rooms and rooms with shared bathrooms together with shared kitchen facilities.
Our main hall has a variety of sizes of single rooms with shared bathrooms. Sitting behind the college are 2 and 4 Norham Gardens. These properties comprise of single ensuite rooms and some with a separate private bathroom. This is a city centre location, with easy access to the college library and chapel.
Location: the properties are a 10 minute walk to Oxford city centre; limited car parking will be available during the site development.

Yarnton Manor
Ensuite rooms with shared kitchen facilities.
Four miles north of Oxford, sits Yarnton Manor the 17th Century Manor House.
This is a quiet rural setting, away from the busyness of Oxford.
Location: the property is a eight minute walk to a regular bus link and twenty minute bus journey to Wycliffe.
Car parking is available.

Single Rooms
All rooms are fully furnished and contain at least:
- Single bed and mattress
- Desk and desk chair
- Wardrobe
- Bookshelves
- Some rooms also contain a chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and easy chair (varies by size of room).
Rent includes:
- Utility bills (gas, electricity, water)
- Cleaning - a cleaner will communal areas (shared bathrooms, kitchens) daily. Bedrooms are cleaned if you move out or go away in the vacations.
- Repairs and maintenance
- Internet connection
- Contents Insurance for your belongings in your room
- Access to laundry facilities (app or card-operated washing machines and tumble dryers)

Ordinands
Single ordinands of the Church of England and those who choose to commute weekly and return home at weekends are guaranteed accommodation in Wycliffe Hall for the duration of their course. The Church of England maintenance grant covers rent and all meals in term time. The meals package is all meals for those living in Oxford and available in college at Wycliffe for those in Yarnton.
Vacation residence should be agreed with the diocese, although we expect all single ordinands will stay in their room through vacations, for which a weekly rate is charged. All ordinands who intend to be resident through vacations are housed in buildings with good self-catering facilities, as the Hall's dining room is closed outside term.
Couples & Family Accommodation
Wycliffe Hall owns and manages several properties in Oxford (most within two miles of Wycliffe) and Yarnton (four miles away) that are available for couples and families to rent. These properties range in size from 1 bedroom flats to 5 bedroom houses, and details of those available each year will be provided to eligible students. If you are coming as a couple or family please make contact with our accommodation team directly. Couples/family accommodation is reserved on a first come, first served basis.

Insurance
Wycliffe Hall is working in partnership with Endsleigh, the No. 1 student insurance provider, to provide some cover for the contents inside your room. You don't need to do anything to activate this cover, but it is important for you to check and ensure that you fully understand the protection provided and whether it is sufficient for your needs.

Catering
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in Hall every day in term. Meals are served from the counter, other than the two or three Formal Halls per term, where students are served at the table (with some students acting as servers each time), and are booked and paid for in advance. The college provides a vegetarian option at all meals, and can cater for special diets.
All residents are asked to pay a £600 catering charge at the start of Michaelmas term.
Good self-catering facilities are available in each accommodation block. Pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and basic utensils are provided in each kitchen, along with fridges, freezers, kettles, microwaves and toasters. Students are not permitted to have cooking equipment in their rooms for fire safety reasons.

A deposit of £500 is required to confirm your acceptance of a room in Wycliffe Hall, once offers of accommodation have been made. The deposit is non-refundable if you withdraw after accepting the room and otherwise held until you move out of Wycliffe accommodation when it will be returned to you (after deductions to cover the cost of repairing any damage caused by you or for unpaid rent).
